What is Transcendental Meditation?

Transcendental Meditation® (TM) is a simple and natural mental technique, which is practised for 20 minutes twice a day, sitting comfortably with eyes closed. It's easy to learn (absolutely anyone can learn TM), effortless to practise, and doesn't involve any change in lifestyle or any belief system.

What happens when you meditate?

What if I’m not good at controlling my mind?

The good news is that even though Transcendental Meditation has been shown to improve concentration and focus in activity, there is no concentration, focus or control of the mind when practising the technique.
TM is a completely natural and effortless technique. Anyone, at any age, including children can do it. It’s that simple!

What if I’m skeptical?

Being sceptical is fine. Fortunately, Transcendental Meditation is a universal technique and no belief or change in beliefs is required to learn and practice TM – and gain all the benefits. In fact, you can be 100% sceptical and the TM technique will work just fine for you.
