The nature of life is to grow and progress. We are all born with infinite potential. We all have the ability to enjoy mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. In fact, this is our birthright and natural to life.
In daily life whenever we are thinking, engaged in activity or perceiving the world through our senses, our awareness is confined within boundaries. The experience of our own essential nature as unbounded and infinite is overshadowed.
The TM technique allows the mind to settle inwards and effortlessly transcend the experience of boundaries. We experience the essential unboundedness of who we are – the self.
Statistical meta-anaylsis of all available research (42 independent study results) indicated that practice of the Transcendental Meditation technique increased Self-Actualisation by three times as much as procedures of contemplation, concentration and other techniques. Like a dirty window blocks the sunlight, stress stored in the body inhibits the experience of our light or potential within.
As the mind effortlessly transcends during the TM technique, the body gains profound rest which releases stress allowing access to our true nature and potential within.
As the TM practise continues we begin to rise in higher states of consciousness or enlightenment and as a result life becomes more and more satisfying.
We feel a greater sense of integration and connectedness with the world around us.
This ultimate state of human development is the natural outcome of the regular practice of Transcendental Meditation – the fulfilment of life's deepest quest to live our full potential.
